An international conference on finance and economics is organized to take place on September 6-8, 2006 in İstanbul. The conference primarily aims at bringing together academics, researchers, policy-makers, industry professionals and students working or having an interest in any sub-field of finance and economics with special reference to emerging market economies and institutions. The EMFE conference is jointly organized by the İstanbul Bilgi University Capital Markets Program and the University of Edinburgh Management School and Economics. Completed papers or extended abstracts should be submitted by e-mail as a single file to emfe2006@globalecofinance.com by July 21, 2006. Papers can be theoretical, empirical, applied or policy-oriented.
